In March 2023, I started a personal project called Six Megapixels Self, where I capture spaces, everyday life, and food with a 6-megapixel camera to go back to my roots as a photographer. I regularly update it on Instagram @6mp.self

about

Hi, I'm Bianca, a photographer and multimedia artist from Manila, Philippines. I started taking photos when I was 12 and became a visual storyteller since then.I usually tell stories about candid moments in a busy city, people doing art, what I ate today, and history seen through architecture. I also love playing with lights and chasing the time between the golden hour and dusk.Aside from photography, I've also entered filmmaking, which introduced me to more intentional and creative visual storytelling. In 2017, my experimental documentary film "Disconnected" was featured in Rolando Tolentino's "Tagay: Lunsad ng Wagi/Sawi at 10 Pang Libro" launch. My professional path in photography started in 2016 and took a 3-year hiatus. During those years, I became a photo editor, writer, social media manager, and digital nomad.Today, I'm ready to tell stories again with my camera, just like I used to.
